Valbiom, a reference centre for the biobased economy
Over the past 20 years, Valbiom has established itself as a reference centre for the biobased economy, serving public and private players: local authorities, regional services, project promoters, manufacturers, etc.
Valbiom acts as a regional player to facilitate the transition to an environmentally-friendly, innovative and job-creating economy, based on renewable and local resources: in short, a sustainable biosourced economy.
Valbiom's aim is to promote and support non-food biomass recovery projects in strategic sectors such as bioenergy, textiles, eco-construction and green chemistry.
Our main objective is to promote the emergence and sustainability of new economic activities in Wallonia based on the non-food recovery of biomass.
