Vegaplan is de scheme holder of the Vegaplan Standards for primary crop production, agricultural contractors and horticulturists.
In the Vegaplan Standards are integrating the legal requirements resulting from the sectoral guides (FASFC), the integrated pest management (IPM), as well as extra-legal requirements (Vegaplan), which are based on the demands of the market and existing agricultural practices within the sectors.
Vegaplan certification guarantees food safety and the quality of the supply of vegetable raw materials. It guarantees, when purchasing a Vegaplan certified product, that it is safe and produced using sustainable agricultural practices.
