This infrastructure allows the development of an "open-air organic laboratory" in Wallonia.nnDefine a new agricultural paradigm, with today's tools, to meet the challenges of tomorrownnThis concept of "open-air organic laboratory" corresponds to the setting up of innovation and testing platforms in real production situations, based on the co-creation of knowledge and technical tools adapted to the local reality and which can serve as inspiration for other contexts.nnAn independent, dynamic, forward-thinking and innovative structurennFinancially and intellectually independent, the research institute raises questions and provides pragmatic answers in order to create a fairer balance between a nourishing agriculture and the natural balance.nnOur infrastructuren n60 ha of organic landnTo carry out our tests, we have 60 ha of certified organic land in the immediate vicinity of our institute in Upigny in Hesbaye.nnnOffices and a training room located in the immediate vicinity of the landnOur offices accommodate BRIOAA researchers, trainees, trainers and guests.nnnOur structure is located just 45 'from the center of Brussels.nAn ideal central location. Long-term course in Organic Agriculture and Organic AgroecologynnCutting-edge knowledge, at the crossroads of research and practical application (technical, scientific, social, environmental and economic aspects). nCourses take place on 60ha organic agroecology in Upigny, supplemented by a network of partner farms and businesses in Belgium and abroad. nFlexible format, compatible with employment: 1 year part-time (2.5 days per week) or 2 years quarter-time.
